To be honest I hankered after the rigid model so it being rigid but with the wrong backend is ok.

If anyone wants to swap their rigid backend chainstay for this swinger I'll be very very interested.

While I wait for a chainstay to appear I can concentrate on getting the bike running.

A few kicks and prods tonight has stopped the clutch from slipping and I have compression thats the good news the bad is there is no spark but hopefully I will have some time this weekend to see where the electricity has escaped to.

Hi Barry, I am restoring the World's pldest Trifield for someone and the rigid rear end has rusted away to virtually nothing. It is a girder forked model C, with Triumph 2H engine and we were also on the lookout for a replacement rear end. However, the owner would be up for trying to fit your swingarm rear end, if it were available? Regards, Paul.

Spookily enough I also have a restored Triumph Model C
