Hi ive just purchased a solo seat for a 1995 Enfield Bullet im rebuilding. It doesnt have the front seat bracket and i want to make one and weld it on , but want to make it as close as possible to the ones originally fitted. Any info regarding size would be grateful e.g. width , thickness of material, height and position from end of tube on frame.
thanks.

Hitchcocks make an adapter just to do this job. It's part number is 200084 and it is on page 105 of there catalogue. This adapter puts every thing in its right place to be able to fit a solo seat onto your 1995 Enfield Bullet. It's cost is 27 English pounds which is very reasonable to get the right bracket. I do not think that you could make one for less than this price.
