I know it's different if you're restoring / blinging up old stuff, but given that stainless steel is so readily available and inexpensive, is there still a place for chrome on new stuff? Discuss.

A chrome plated discus ?? now there's something to reflect on ..LoL !!------ Personally I prefer the "old style" look of nickle plate.....
