Hi, have you got a filler cap with a hole in it? If not the oil tank will pressurise. It could also be a breather problem. Vince

It is NOT the rings. Rings rotate ALL the time. On average a piston ring rotates fully a round the piston once ever 400 revs.


In the time it takes to start a new engine, blip the throttle once or twice, you can then strip the motor and will discover that all three ring gaps will have shifted from where you had put them...


Revisit your oil pump again, SOMETHING is partially leaking or obstructed.
