Hi Vince, I think the crossover shaft ran behind / underneath those gearboxes, but I have only seen them in pictures, so I don't know about them in any great detail. Regards, Paul.

Do out know how the gearlever is configured as it can't surely pass through the primary chaincase. Vince. PS my apology for multiple posts.

I'm pretty sure it is all external with various linkages. There may be pictures on google?

The vendor is in america so I think you hit the nail on the head. I,ll have to take a close look at a USA model to get the lowdown. Thanks for your answers. Vince
