I have a 2012 efi deluxe B5 and I'm struggling to find how to remove the dual seat. The front of the seat has a metal tongue that fits into an oblong bracket attached to the frame but I can't find where the rest of the seat is secured to the frame. The two bolts on each side of the rear of the saddle seem to only secure the sissy handle on the back of the seat and don't fix the seat to the frame. I am looking to fit one of Mr H's rather expensive 'low B5 saddles' so any help or comments from anyone who has got one fitted would be much appreciated. Mick.

Hi Mick, you will probably find that one of the 2 bolts at the back of the seat holding on the grab-handle also hold the seat onto the frame.
I found this out as the seat had to come off my old 2008 Electra EFI, or 'Effie' a while back.

I seem to remember an Allen bolt being the one that held the bracket which seemed to a real sod to get back on again afterwards!

Good luck!

Many thanks Gaz, I've just read your thread on this (should have searched the forum first...) and found the nut that is welded to the frame that the seat and the handle are attached to. Siimps!
Has anyone out there fitted the low seat, part No 91407? Would be nice to get some feedback before taking out a mortgage.
