Congratulations, a very nice looking tidy bike. You've done a good job, I hope it rides as nice as it looks? Just a small point, your front fork shrouds look a bit short, exposing the oil seals. They may be off a Crusader which had shorter ones by about one and a half inches. Indian Bullet ones will fit and are easy to find. Let us know how it goes!

Thanks Mark, I suspect the tool box is off a Crusader as well as the hole for the air filter is in the wrong place, I thought the shrouds looked odd but as the springs were taken out and had external springs added its been a sreuggle to sort out. I did fancy using fork gaiters and a short chrome shroud next.

I have some Indian shrouds you can have, as long as you cover postage. If you want them give me a call or text 07518745920, Chris.

Tom,

I think Alan R has answered your question elsewhere.

Arty,

I've taken the liberty of copying your "after" picture here. Nice neat work, though I think fork gaiters will look odd with the Redditch casquette (they don't look that good with the Electra-X casquette either, come to think of it!). Also, a Redditch style tank and seat might show off the rest of your hard work a little better than the Indian items do, a possible upgrade at some stage...

Out on the road today still got some clutch drag , changes gear OK when engine not running out on road some clutch drag stops downward changes, replaced inner and outer ratchet plates on gear change and purchased hard and soft clutch spring set , can select gears ok with neutral lever , I suspect clutch not disengaging correctly, technical notes on site suggest re routing cable , will try that next. before throwing myself and bike into the river Tyne
