As Crocodile Dundee once said about knifes "Now That's A Dam". Beautiful dam built by real craftsmen. No back up a truck and dump a load of concrete here, no this is a proper dam and the Red Baron adds to the scene of solidity. Stone iron and steel the stuff of quality.

My Joyce says that I'm quite solid as well ( above the shoulders, that is !!)........Another Dam the lads and I like to visit is The Ladybower in the Derbyshire Dales...........The small road that goes almost around it is closed during the Winter but come the Spring and we'll be back there ( http://www.derbyshire-peakdistrict.co.uk/ladybower.htm )...

I quite like the look of that smll windshield of yours so might treat myself to one for Chri....s.!!

Windshields. I have always had a wind shield since I turned 60. They keep me warmer now that I feel the cold. They keep the wind off my chest which means that I do not have to hold the handle bars like grim death because the wind is trying to blow me off my motorcycle. It is amazing how much rain that they cause to blow around your body whilst riding in the rain. I do not ride in the rain but I have been caught out at times. The windscreen that I have on this motorcycle is the old one from my Yamaha XJ650. I converted it to use on the RE.
Do not bu a screen that is too small I did and had to get a second bigger one. There are some that are made just for the RE motorcycle and even have RE written on them. I like them and they do not hold the motorcycle back because of wind resistance as some say rather there streamline shape actually helps the bike to slip through the air.
