Great, sounds like you have a plan! The 59 350 is well catered for in terms of spares by our Hosts and stuff comes up on Ebay too. Be mindful of the fact that these late 350s don't fetch a lot of money (the 500s, the Bighead, are a different story,) so think carefully before ploughing a load of cash into chrome and paint. On the other hand they are a really nice gentle ride with just enough go to cope with modern A road traffic and the brakes are good. Good luck with it and do pop in for more updates/advice, I'm just getting to the end of a long drawn out restoration (!) of a 1955 350 so I'll post some pictures as well.

Thanks Pete, I think I've got it sussed now and know what to do the next time I need to post a photo. I'm not going to try again on this thread as 3 photos of a BMW on the Enfield site would be pushing it a bit!

Yes, that's correct. From late 1958 all the "big frame" bikes had provision on the steering head to fit the main bracket for the Airflow fairing. If the logbook says Airflow, that's what it had when it left the Factory. The Airflow fairing is very good (I had a 500 Bullet with one fitted) I'd say as good as the one on my modern BMW. It is quite ugly from some angles though!

Shannon's, the Aussie bike auctions had a Meteor Minor Airflow. Basically, this is what they look like...

They don't originally come with indicators, someone added them. SO it's the fairing AND front mudguard that make up the airflow.
