Hi, as I can't stretch to £650 for our hosts half fairing for my 535GT,I have gone down the cheaper generic gel goat route that will obviously need painting but will also need a fitting kit 😯
The problem is finding out how to mount the headlight from the move able headstock on to the fixed fairing frontage?
I have checked ebay etc for a generic/adjustable bracket without success.
I can work a spanner but I don't have the skills or tools to make my own. Any ideas for a solution or anywhere that could help me out guys?

Put most simply, you either need to fabricate a front sub-frame to attach the light and fairing to or fabricate a couple of brackets to attach the light to the inside of the fairing then other brackets to attach the fairing to the bike.



Most Japanese bikes have the headlamp attached to the inside of the fairing.



If you were doing that, you'd just need a couple of L-shaped bits of alloy plate bonded/bolted/both to the inside of the fairing either side of the headlamp aperature with a hole in to attach the standard headlamp bolts to. This should still allow you to alter the beam angle. I'd attach them using epoxy then fibreglass over the top.

In fact, you could probably use a pair of gate hinges with a larger hole drilled in them in a Burt Munroe style. Once firmly bolted to the sides of the headlamp, they wont be able to move.
