Not necessarily still under warranty.....Anyway, according to the w/shop manual the fork oil needs to be changed at 7,500 mile intervals. I won't change mine until it has done 7,500 miles, as specified. The same source quotes SAE10W/30 fork oil. If yours is anything like my 2015 C5 I would suggest erring on the higher viscosity end. Be aware also that changing the fork oil on the C5 is a right royal PITA. Don't let owners of other bikes, including the B5 Bullet tell you different. That's why I'm not doing mine until I have to as it involves fork leg removal. Casquttes amy look nice but they don't half make maintenance hard on the C5. By contrast my Triumph Tiger 100 has a filler plug in each fork leg that is accessible by removing the headlight rim and glass. A syringe is then used to fill the leg with the specified amount. Oh, and like most old Brit bikes it has drain screws too. Why don't modern bikes???? (my Thruxton doesn't, so again, it's fork removal time, though it's easy enough on that. Good luck.
