Hello folks,

I wondered if I could ask for some help. There are the two nuts on the rear wheel I'm not sure about; there's a 30mm one holding on the brake drum/ rear sprocket and a 24mm lock nut one on the rear wheel spindle itself. Could anyone please help with torque values for these?
The bike is a C5 Classic, 2016.
I'm new to all this and would be grateful for any advice.

Thanks.

I think you might be quoting the spanner size rather than the fastening diameter? A 30mm bolt would be quite big to hold a back wheel on ;-)
Joking apart, those bolts do need to be quite tight but a torque wrench is probably not really needed but 50 ft/lbs/in would be about right.

The list I've got says Rear wheel spindle castle nut 70 Nm, but oddly doesn't give a value for the other one.

70 Nm = 51.63 ft/lbs

Correction, I said 50 ft/lb/in on last post which doesn't make sense.

Hello,
You're right - it was the socket size I had put down.

Thanks for the info - I was a bit worried about that spindle nut.
