Thank you guys for your comments, I contacted our host who said that if you can get a drive wich they haven't heard of that converts kph to mph the speedo would be wildly inaccurate so as to make it way out so would defeat the objective so I'll soldier on with it reading kph on metre and mph on clock.

Speedo's are not expensive. I payed 21.84 pounds for mine from India and it works very well. They sell KPH or MPH. I dont know how they can even make them for this price.

[center]check out the two types of Indian 'chronometric' ones carefully. There is one with a green plastic looking surround to the dial itself, avoid these. They tend to read whatever they like, whenever they like, and cost about a tenner! Then there is the £20? £25? jobby from our hosts which I installed on Tornado. Reads a few MPH high, but has done the job well for three years now!
