I have a 2016 bullet 500 b5 EFI, I'm in Canada and I'm damn sure no one would tune the ECU, so what should I expect from a free flow exhaust? I know indian made ones are cheap like the short bottle or is there other brands that could fit besides the ones from hitchcocks. Like a certain harley, vance and hines, cobra, etc that could fit. Thanks. Currently at 2400 km with stock exhaust.

I put an Indian short bottle exhaust on my 2015 B5 about 6 months ago. Sounds great, much better than the 'muffled sound' from the original pea shooter. It also goes well. I don't think it is free flow though, and still provides a bit of back pressure. I didn't notice any difference with the EFI, even after I used K & N filter in place of the original paper one. Another advantage is that the new exhaust is much lighter than the original. A disadvantage was that i burned my trousers on it and I have subsequently added a heat shield. Recently, I have changed the EFI for the Hitchcock's carburettor kit, largely because the EFI always had the engine running rich and the plug was constantly fouled.

I can relate, already gone through 2 plugs. Now I use a ngk irdium plug and it's very good. Where did you get your short bottle exhaust from?

I would highly recommend the silencer that our host supply for the EFI bullets, have one on my B5 and it sounds and looks great,(also have the full system they sell on my Electra X... the B5 has a deeper thump than the Electra X but both sound really good) you might need to fit the heat shield that our host sell as well to cover the ugly lug that's left on the standard downpipe...or you could go full system also supplied by our hosts and then not have to worry about that ugly lug at all, and make your bullet lighter too.
