something off the internewt... Select DIODE on your multimeter and unplug the reg/reg from the circuit. Connect the RED probe to the BLACK reg/rec wire, and use the BLACK probe to test all the YELLOW wires on the reg/reg. The meter should read between 0.35v and 0.55v for each of the 3 yellow wire measurements.
Connect the BLACK probe to the RED reg/rec wire, and use the RED probe to test all the YELLOW wires. The reading should again be between 0.35V and 0.55v for each yellow wire. Any readings higher than 0.55v indicates an open circuit or bad internal connection, anything lower than 0.35v indicates a short.
