Hi, I'm new to this site and until recently I've have not had a Royal Enfield for many years. My question is will a 500 bullet engine fit straight into a 700 constellation frame?
Bit random I know but I've inherited an unfinished project and would be grateful of some advice. Its a 58 constellation rolling frame but the engine is a 1959 500 bullet.
I'm considering several options with this bike and one avenue I would like to explore is the possibility of putting the proper 700 twin engine back in and restoring the bike to original factory finish but need to know if the bearers etc would've been modified to accept the 500 bullet engine.
Any advice is gratefully appreciated
