Papasmurf, it's of great use. I have seen it before, but must admit forgot all about again. Actually all these little how-to videos on youtube are a goldmine of information. And all the other suggested videos. I use them a lot. Like all the good advice on this board is of great help too. Regarding the goo: I drained the box before I started to dismantle it. The grease has become liquid after 35K km. So by now with the help of gravity a little more than 500 grams has come out. The rest is still there as a thick layer all over. I thought about the kerosene trick, but do it after the service. Or maybe I should just wash the box with kerosene now it's open. The plan is not to do a full strip, but to install a sealed bearing and a bronze bush from our host at RH side of the box. And of course to do a gearbox lube change (the plan is oil instead of grease). Tim, I'm not sure about how to make a draw bolt and if the bush is thick enough for tapping, but I guess it's the way to get it out.
