My local dealer (Cooperb) told me on Saturday that the Himalayan is getting a UK launch in April. Which contradicts what others have been told. But he did say they never get any info direct from RE, it all comes through Moto GB the importers.

News from CMW motorcycles:-

"The new Euro 4 Royal Enfields will arrive in November

Yes there is a new model coming - BUT - The drum brake will be going, the Traditional style of the Bullet and Classic EFI will be changed forever. ABS Braking has to be fitted so a rear disc will replace the classic drum brake The simplicity of this traditional design will go, more electronics more sophisticated fuel injection etc. Stock is now running very low we have just 1 Bullet left in Silver, 1 Classic Tan and 1 Classic Black left, once these bikes have gone that will be the end of the line. I am not saying the new model will be a step backwards I am sure it will be an improvment, but the styling will be different, the price will go up and that traditional look, gone forever. If you have ever lusted after a Classic styled Royal Enfield give us a call before its too late on 01243 782544

If what's on show in Milan and Barcelona is anything to go by, Euro 4 Bullets will look a whole lot like the current crop of EFIs, only with a disc rear brake/oval section swinging arm and a little rotor thingy on the front hub, the current EFI Classic styling looks to be pretty much intact. Is this CMW just trying to draw in customers for their old stock with its last chance to get a real one/"traditional style... changed forever" sales pitch?

Too late by about 8 years...

papasmurf, I know the link is no good for posting a pic here, that's why I called it a link. >br>
I'm possibly the world's worst at posting a pic here from another website source. I can't even see the HTML code let alone edit it.
