Ha yes the Seagull runs on 10:1 or thinned oil. Im always a bit wary of assuming that modern oils will allow lighter mixes. No question you can get away without regular decokes but I generally maintain the ratio as recommended from the specs. I have two little Berini M13 Cyclemotors and they go brilliantly on 25:1 Ive heard of people running them on 40:1 but to what end? The Iron Horse lawnmower has 16:1 and the chainsaw 50:1. I just require a range of well marked fuel containers.
