Afternoon all, does anyone know how to get rid of the "my shopping" ribbon which cuts off the right hand portion of text to the first few posts on this wonderful forum? I don't know if this only affects tablets, but it really is most annoying having to guess the last couple of words of each line. Answers in simple terms please. Codger at the keyboard.

Hi Reg sorry I cant help you but I was also going to ask the same question as I am having the same problem.

I get round it when I need to by clicking on the 'view' box at the top of the browser and reducing the page size to 75%. The downside is all the letters, words and pictures become smaller, but it is possible to see the missing words. Regards, Paul.

Maybe I spoke too soon. All except the fifth post (funkyorange, 350 no compression) are readable. Is it something to do with the incoming post?

Try downloading the Chrome browser app to your pad. Install it and then try the forum... Android technology isn't designed to work with computer technology without making some adjustment to the content. The app will do that...

You could try opening the site in a different browser see if that helps I don't get no probs on my when I pad using firefox for instance.
