What is the Saddle you are using front and rear, they look nice. I especially like the front seat with the piping.

Hi walt.. the seat was a story in itself. the frone seat was ok ish but the mrs hated the small rear 'pad'. so.. we sent them both off for recovering and gel inserts. this worked great on mine, but hers still crap due to the size. so.. I bought another front seat and made some bespoke brackets etc to mount on the rear! Result! I think they look ok and shes happy now!

I got the new front seat, for use on the rear, direct from India at £58 delivered. We may have it gelled and recovered to match the front one next year.

Very handsome bike. It looks as if you have access to the top shock bolt with the panniers installed in case of wanting to install a sidecar.

The panniers look great. How much to they hold?

not sure how much they hold, perhaps 15 litres each side. very sturdy though so no fear of overloading them.

Yeah, the 15 litres "stuffed with socks" capacity never helps much with things like panniers - can you get a decent amount of groceries in them? The side flips out - how easy are they to use in practice? Can you slip a grocery bag in there like I can with the big leather ones for example? They'll not take a helmet?

When I fitted the "Electra" frames for my leather panniers to my C5, the second time - I slotted out the end of hole where they fit the suspension mount into a yoke so they slot on like the pillion seat rack does; I don't have to dismantle the bike to get them off.

no way would take a helmet. I called at a shop yesterday to get a 5 litre container of degreaser.. this wet in just, but because of its rectangular shape. lets talk tins of beer...
proabably a dozen each side.. add a pair of socks and pants and a toothbrush and its a weekend away!

It's a pity they're not a bit bigger. The large leather panniers 92502 will take a pretty full supermarket carrier bag. The "Electra-only" 93040 frames will fit a C5 if the pillion seat/rack is fitted, with a bit of cutting and bending where they bolt to the side of the seat, and a lick of paint. The seems to be no official UK outlet for post 2010 bike RE accessories, H, who are independent, run up to 2010 with a few O&S bits later than that; there should be proper pannier frames for the EFI bikes, and I haven't been able to find any even from India..
