Hi ive thought of fitting a pressure switch in the quill bolt, drill and tap and run wires up to a small 1inch horn in the headlamp to warn off low oil pressure can get ones down to 2 psi and quite small much cheaper than a rebuild if pump spindle fails. Any thoughts on this .

Oil pressure gauge probe location. I am told that watching these things can cause great anxiety.
