Wotcha.
My Bullet ended up coming home on the back of a recovery wagon . . . . . Took the Bullet for MOT yesterday - passed, but my friendly tester pointed out my rear sprocket was worn and had a broken tooth. Right - off I went to get a new chain and sprocket - came back and fitted 'em.
Today I decided to pop over to Yeomans and see if they had a left hand footrest for my damaged B31 - yes they did.
Seeing as it was a decent day, I took the Bullet over the top of Romsley rather than sit on the motorway. Got to the island at Halesowen and my clutch cable snapped. Bugger ! Being of the old school of biking, I carry spare cables and a toolkit. . . . . what I don't carry is a spare leg. Yes - once again this bloody injury caught me out. There was no way I could kneel down and fit the cable into the gearbox. I ended up being bought back home on the back of a lorry - not due to the bike being broken, but a case of the rider being broken.
Hmm - maybe time to work on a hydraulic clutch. . . . . p.s. Cable now fitted, back up and running. Should be there Sunday morning - weather permitting
