Well, to be blunt, I'm not surprised you have no interest. It's pretty scruffy and there are lots of examples out there that are better value.

Onedayrestoration, it does not matter how much time, effort and expense has been put into a motorcycle, in the vast majority of cases it will add precisely nothing to the resale value.
The other factor is for the last few years and I suspect into the foreseeable future most people who are likely to buy a motorcycle are strapped for cash.
That is why my wife was able to buy a motorcycle for £1875 that was worth in theory £3750.
It had been changed so much visually few people can even recognise what it is.
That was why we did not mind spending a few hundred quid making it rideable for someone only 5' 4" tall.

If I was looking to buy a second hand Bullet, I would want it as near standard and unmolested as possible and do any modifications myself. There are plenty out there with all sorts of extras and performance parts fitted and, among these lurk many 'Dogs'. My two Indian Bullets are from the early nineties, a 350 and a 500. The 350 was dirt cheap [£250] because it had a burnt exhaust valve and no compression and the 500 ran, but smoked like a destroyer and came home for £500. Both machines have 'valuable' extras fitted by previous owners, the 350 has stainless wheel rims, the 500 has an alloy top end with Hitchcock's head, a rack and other small bits and pieces. Both running well these days and the 350 has been tuned by yours truly - what are they worth? Well, I am not planning to sell either, but if I was offered £1500 for either, they would probably have to go !! Regards, Paul.

I run a 900 diversion for touring duties. I have just added a full stainless exhaust, fork seals, valve check, rear tyre and a service. Adds up to £800 or so. It would not change the value of the bike by a penny I would think. Same for my increasingly shabby bullet. Whatever I spend via our hosts will not make it rise in value. That's biking.

Hi Onedayrestoration. Did you ever sell your 350 classic, or did it make it's way back into the shed?
