I was curious to find out what people's longest rides have been and most miles that you have completed in a day on a Royal enfiled

About 300 miles on an iron 500, 60mph most of the time. Not far compared to others but I'm considering the iron butt challenge on the same bike.

Only 90 miles, but with a seat only one inch thick and 19" knobbly tyres, that was plenty. (The bike was never purchased with the intent of doing long mileages, it was so I could still keep riding a solo machine, after it had been modified to suit my little legs.)

180 to Northumberland, 150 to lake district.
Longest rides are mostly 200+ miles to Canterbury plus 25 miles for Dover - Dunkirk ferry next day then up to 200+ to destination.
Longest ride was the 330 miles ride home from Bellingen, Belgium a few years ago

I did 300 plus miles on the way to Fort William Scotland from Nottingham..I WAS KNACKERD AND ME BUM NUMB BUT MY 98 STD 350 did very well and wanted to go on and on (be it at about 55mph) 5 years later i got a lift as far as scotch corner and toured the islands inc Mull that was nice too..its the motorways/A roads that just take up all your time..enjoy (ho and France but thats another story)

In 1971 I had a 200cc Yamaha, I finished work on the Thursday of the Easter Weekend, I set off at 4.00 am on the Friday and drove from Abbey Wood in SE London to Glasgow Scotland with my brother as pillion, we arrived just as it was starting to get dark, just in time for dinner with family living there, we came back on the Easter Monday again in one go, ready for work on Tuesday.
