Frank what do you mean by a 'jelly mould tank' - fibreglass or the shape was rounded? If its a true Continetal GT 250 it has a long narrow fibreglass tank, 5 speed gearbox, aero screen, ace type bars and rearsets. There were only 1700 made by the factory but there a lot of 'ringers' based on Crusaders etc out there. Give us some more info e.g. close up pics etc for better advice . . . .

There are 2 models, the Continental and the Continental GT. Mechanically they are pretty similar but the bodywork (cycle parts) are different. The Continental for 1963 has a steel tank with an Italian theme, a hump at the front being most obvious. The Con GT is got up like a 60s short circuit racer with fibreglass tank, clip ons, rear sets etc. What do you want to know?

By the way, if you go in to Photo Gallery (left sidebar) and select Original Brochure pictures then 250 single models you'll see pics of all the models year by year.
