Hi

I am trying to track down my Dads old Royal Enfield Bullet registration Number WCD 528. I do not have a engine frame number or anything else to go by just old photos of my Mum and Dad on their Honeymoon at Hunters Inn, Devon on the bike. It was sold to someone in Sussex as my parents lived in Brighton. Can any PLEASE help me!!..you would make my Dad one very happy man if we could find this bike…Thank You

Well good news, it still exists, it is on the DVLA database. It is not currently taxed for road use though. Can you post a picture? I also have a Works Rep and would be interested to see the pics which might help identify it. (Mine has a different reg number so it's not the same one!) If nothing else your Dad can have a go on mine?

Jo, that bike is pretty much identical to mine. Your Dad has added a pillion seat and footrests for your Mum but apart from that, the same. I will email you off board but just to explain: the DVLA website lets you search by registration number and make but that's all the information it will let you have. I believe you can apply to the DVLA (for a fee,) to find out more information ie, the name and address of the registered keeper, but there is no guarantee that they will respond. The fact that this bike is still around is quite unusual, so you've had good luck so far!

Thanks Marc!, would love to see some photos of your bike too!, cannot thank you enough..have relayed information to my Mum and Dad who are over the moon to know that it is still around!! I didn't know that you could even find out by DVLA any information. I will give it a go and write to DVLA, thats if nobody else comes forward and says..Yes,its mine! lol :-)
Yes, my Dad did put on foot pegs and pillion seat for my mum, he did several Trials and my Dad has restored many bikes in his time to total original condition.

@enfield_trials in answer to your question, yes, the rear wheel was a 19" came as standard from the factory, I asked my Dad who only isn't doing this himself as he isn't computer literate. Everything on the bike which you see is standard except the rear footrests and pillion seat.

Thank you enfield_trials for your comments which are appreciated…if anyone has anymore questions, please feel free to ask and I will ask my Dad. More photos to follow.
