Leon, I think you're confusing Marmite (yeast extract, a spread) with Bovril (beef extract, a drink) they come in similar shape bottles.



Marmite - spread it on thick then spread it on thick again, yum!



Oreos now, they taste like burnt breeze block, yuk!

I believe you have to be a Birmingham City supporter to like Bovril; at least that's what Jasper Carrot used to drink as a spectator there. Equally as foul as Marmite in my book, though the majority of this self-selecting sample appear to like it. I wonder if there's a correlation between those who like Marmite and those who have Classic/Redditch Bullets and/or twins?

Funnily enough I love Bovril (and I do support Birmingham)! but hate Marmite! My wife loves Marmite and supports Aston Villa. Our Household is interesting!!
