My friend decided not to buy the WDCO I asked previously about I visited him And I went to look at the said item at his neighbours and yes I bought it.

A 1945 maroon WDCO 350 Enfield. It is beautiful 4 owners from new and the original old buff log book with stamps previous keeper etc . It was restored in 2006 and done less than 200 miles since I test rode it and what a thumping exhaust note a lovely sedate ride So now I have company for my recently purchased 1960 bullet. Which one to ride this weekend up to old warden.

Out of curiosity what is the average number of bikes Enfield owners have on this forum

I have four running bikes (500 Machismo, 350 WDCO, 200 LE Velocette and R80GS BMW), 1 waiting to be fettled (125 DTMX YAM), 1 project under construction (500 J2 RE) and 1 for the 20 next years of empty time (500 pre/post war bitza). Enough to be buzy

Sunshine, I got a sidecar fitting kit for the CX500 Custom from the now defunct Charnwood Classic Restorations.
I searched for a Velorex 700 sidecar after consulting with the now deceased sidecar Guru, Phil Primmer.
I found the sidecar fairly locally at back of someone's garage.
Phil gave me the settings for attaching the sidecar and it ran straight and true hand off the handlebars on the first road test. (I also fitted a steering damper off of a Volkswagen Beetle on Phil's advice.
If I have posted this successfully this is me arriving home after going on an expedition into bandit country to get some 12ft long planks to make shuttering for a concrete base:-
