Hi Boris, my response is an answer to Reg's query :)
Demesne farm is where the BSAOC camp was, when I stayed on a while after the camp I moved into the superb bunkhouse.
I might have liked a return visit but alas the date clashes with the Belgium BSAOC John Bull Rally which oddly enough is in a town called Bellingen.

Great stuff! Not too far from me (Barnard Castle). Is it REOC only, or are all welcome?

Well that campsite is the grand total of 36 miles away from me. I am even off work that weekend, so if I can just turn up I will try and get down for the weekend

Hi Reg, Boris and Davie,
I'm the organiser of the North East Rally at Bellingham yes you are welcome to come along, as rallies go the Royal Enfield Club's events are mainly just social gatherings with a couple of rides out usually to some scenic place of interest with a café stop. The evenings are usually spent socialising in a local Pub or on the campsite. They are good occasions to swap yarns and maybe get information or bits for your Enfield's.
I look forward to seeing you if you come. John

Hi John, looks like I will only be there for the Saturday. Im away with work for the week and on holiday the next week and my other half isn't very happy about me doing off again. What time do the ride outs normally start?

Hi Dave,
The run will start about 10.30 - 11.00 I've not selected the destination yet so it may be later but not earlier. I usually try to keep the run to about 60 - 80 miles.
regards John

Hi John, I was planning to call the farm tomorrow, is there a special rally price for camping? Thanks, Nigel
