The Electra EFI is just a styling variant within the EFI model range. Its reliability should be no better or worse than any other EFI engines of a similar age.

Things to watch out for are the usual suspects found across the whole of the modern range of Enfield motorcycles except perhaps for the current Clubman model, which whilst suffering a few minor ailments here and there hasn't as yet (as far as I'm aware) had any issues concerning frame alignment or instability at speed reported on other EFI bikes.

Thanks for all replies. Things didn't turn out quite as expected - I bought a Conti GT535 with under 1 thou on the clock and I'm o'er the moon! Spent all day checking her over today (as you do) and my first impression is that it is much better built than my 2011 Classic 500 - frame welds, electrics, suspension, paint, chrome etc. If it doesn't pee it down tomorrow should be putting some miles on the clock.
