Good Morning All,
I recently moved to the UAE and bought myself a 2009 Enfield. Now its been chopped into a hard tail and getting information on the bike has been difficult, as the person I bought it off wasn't the person who did the mods, and that person hasn't replied to any emails etc. when I asked some questions. Now I am told it is a 2009, 500cc Cast Iron engine, I know its a 2009 and a 500cc based on the registration information, and basically you can see it is a cast engine. It is not a EFI model, as it runs a carby.
I have visited the RE shop here in Dubai, but they inform me that they do not keep any parts for any older style bikes.
The previous owner when installing the exhaust has banged it up a bit to get it to fit tight against the frame, and I was looking at a stainless pipe to fit. What model should I be looking at? I can post a picture to give a better idea of what the bike looks like if that helps. Is it just a 500cc pipe or does it need to be specific for that engine. I am a very new rider on Enfields and I don't want to buy something and have to ship it back or end up being stuck with it, if it doesn't fit.
