Hi guys,

The clocks on my GT 535 CONTI rattle really loudly whilst riding and really spoil the sound of the motor and really is irritating.
I cut some hard self adhesive foam and lined the clock brackets with it and it cured it for a while but the foam goes soft after a while and the rattle returns. I have now put some hard rubber blocks between bracket and clocks and while it has reduced it some what its still there at certain speeds.
Anyone else have this problem?
If so have you cured it?
Sounds really petty but it does ruin the noise of the motor.

Maybe some layers of old tyre tube; chain adjustment? tyre pressures? or it might be time to tune the engine so it doesn`t vibrate so much.

Hi

I am glad I am not the only one with this issue. The first time it got worse was because the bracket was loose at the top yoke end, when I tightened it up the noise almost stopped for a while.

The clocks do still vibrate at certain revs and mine had condensation on the inside this weekend. If that continues I will be heading to the dealer for a chat.

Even though my warranty has expired, I may try my luck because this problem seems quite common. After talking to our hosts this week, they are looking at a remedy but nothing in the pipe line as yet.

Keep us informed how you get on.

I am looking at a single Koso clock to replace them if I can work out a bracket. I am fed up with the KPM clocks with unreadable MPH scale anyway

Hi guys,
our hosts have now come up with a solution to this problem and will shortly be supplying some rubber mounted studs that fit between the top yoke and the clock bracket.
I have tested these and they do work.......no more rattles ☺☺☺
