Hi all.. finally decided to trade up my 2006 Bullet 500 (right hand gear box, points, drum brakes etc) for a brand new one. (old one will be for sale very soon if anyone on the look out?)

I spoke to a dealership in Halifax yesterday, who offered 0% interest over 2 years if I put down 50%.. seems a no brainer! However, just spoken to a much more local dealer, GP of Grantham.. they can do the same and he emphasised that he does a lot more than standard PDI before he lets one go...

Any one got any experience of this dealer?

Hi i used to live in grantham. I took my honda blackbird to them for a full service once. They tried to charge me £680 but hadnt done a single job on the service sheet. I.e. oil+filter, spark plugs, air filter, cam shims. They had the bike for a week and when i went to pick it up i noticed the dirty oil still in the sight glass, this raised questions straight away so i went more indepth. The filter hadnt been changed. I asked to see the old plugs and airfilter and was shown a set that wouldnt even a blackbird. Upon even closer inspection they had cracked the nose cone which cost £420 new. And scratched a panel.

I refused to pay and demanded compensation. He tried to keep my bike and only when i threw him across his stupid desk and snatched my keys away did he relent.

This was 12 years ago but i would never go anywhere near them again. I moved 10yrs ago and to be honest i am bloody amazed he is still in buisness.
