Hi folks, I've just purchased a luggage rack for my 2013 Electra EFI & there's no instructions how to fit this. Now, you fellas out there may well just laugh to yourselves but I am a female & quite new to biking so I need a little (or alot) of help here. Who's up for the challenge please ? - Gail

Gailw, there is an assumption of expertise when putting accessories on an Enfield. I have found bit of "remodelling" of the accessory is necessary, and/or longer bolts.
I fitted some pannier racks to my Electra X (ish) which required longer bolts on the rear carrier and some "reshaping" (Bending to fit) of the right hand pannier rack.

Gail, any chance you could put a photo on here and sort of outline the particularly tricky bits? Maybe show the bike and the rack? I'm sure specific help would then come your way. Good luck, Chris

Hi Gail, what luggage rack is it as the fitting insturctions will depend on what rack you bought. If it's from Hitchcocks then send the part number! Is it a pannier rack or tail piece, for example?

Thank you all for responding, which is really appreciated. Thankfully, Adrian from Hitchcocks has put together a cribsheet for me together with photos so I can now attempt to fit the luggage rack (item 92700). Watch this space ......

Hello lovely people - thought you'd be pleased to hear that I managed to fit the luggage rack to my Electra. Came across several 'made in India' anomalies but after several hours, finally got it sorted. What a sense of achievement for little old me. Thanks for your offers of help.
