Hi, Has anyone got any idea why the rear mudguard on the Indian 700 Apache twin was attached to the swingarm and went up and down . it looks awful. Vince

Not by my calendar, its a genuine query, what was the logic behind it? Vince

No idea, but the Series D Vincent twins did the same with their rear mudguards. Perhaps it was to offer a historical context for some of the current crop of bobber customs, assuming whoever it was at the factory/factories could predict this far ahead! OK, that's no help either. I agree with you about how it looks, if that's any comfort.
