Hi Steve, a very neat and professional installation, but I wonder if the filter is really doing that much?...I notice you have Samrat Rockers and the Oil pressure relief valve. The two mods are really making the oil supply flow through the filter very minimal which is OK if you just want the tiny amount of oil throughput to the rockers filtered. If you have unmodified Samrat rockers...that are undrilled with O rings in place....they will raise the return pressure considerably and lift the oil pressure relief valve off its seat more than by using standard rockers and divert the vast majority of oil back into the timing chest. The original cast iron rockers pass a greater amount of oil but the Samrats have O ring seals so will bump the pressure up. This perfectly OK of course.....the relief valve on the old engine was designed to pass the majority of oil into the timing chest and just allow enough pressure to gently lube the top end, same as most British bikes, but if you want to filter the oil you need the filter BEFORE the relief valve so the entire amount of return oil (moved by the scavenge pump) will be filtered and the pressure of this oil can then be regulated by the relief valve and makes the Samrat flow restriction unimportant....As it is, you are certainly getting a clean oil flow to the rockers but any dirt in the oil could take ages before it takes the route up to your filter and in theory may never get picked up as the filter is only seeing a tiny percentage of the full amount of oil flow and it's not guaranteed that it will ever get filtered, as it could go via the relief valve route every time....Les
