Tongue FIRMLY in cheek.... Just thought I would start a discussion, then run away rapidly. I have a mudguard. I sprayed it white undercoat then black topcoat. Do I have a black mudguard with white undercoat or a white mudguard with a black topcoat? If I have one of each, I must surely have 2, but I can only see one....... Gets tin hat and digs a deep hole....

Neither!
You have a steel (presumably) mudguard with white undercoat and black finish coat.
And you should have used a dark undercoat.

Ah Grasshopper.... Does the zebra have black stripes or white....?

I think the mudguard is whatever colour the DVLA thinks it is.

Talking of the DeVious LA, well the then Maidstone LVL office, I needed to re-register a motorcycle that had not been used for many years. They sent a guy along to check that the motorcycle existed and some days later I received a V5 for my little Honda CB125S.

I have no idea what happened between the guy viewing my bike and somebody filling the V5 in, but it arrived stating that I had a 'Scooter combination"!

Ha Ha, Don't you just love officialdom..?

Just think back in the day you could have been severely educated by both MODS and ROCKERS..
