Adrian, I can't believe you found the ones from Stourbridge Motorcycles! I took my Enfield there for it's MOT last year and I had a good chat with them and they never said anything about these type of tyres. They must have recently set this site shop up.

Scaly - My Indian 500ES Bullet (now sold) had 19" wheels shod with std. Avon Speedmaster fr./SM Mk.II rear - good grippy tyres as confirmed by Dennis C, but in my experience the front wore quite quickly and need replacement twice as often as the rear. My Redditch 350 Bullet has the same combination of Avons front and rear, but both wheels have 17" rims. Can't see this as any sort of a problem........At the moment I'm resurrecting a 1986 MZ ETZ. This has an original Pneumant ("Pnogrip") 2.75 X 18 front tyre that needs replacing (well, it is 40 years old....) and a rear 3.25 X 16 (yes, SIXTEEN) - try finding a "suitable" tyre in that size !

Yes, I think that would be a very "suitable" replacement for the rear tyre, Papa ! (Not sure how I had overlooked it myself, as my most recent tyre purchase was a TT100 4.10H19 front K81 tyre for another bike). Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
