This may seem like a strange suggestion (bearing in mind im not very mechanically minded) but have you checked the spark plug?

I had the exact same problem on my bullet efi and nothing I tried made a difference, until I changed the plug and realized it was all sooted up. Starts like a charm ever since.... Although, it is constantly sorting up still and I don't know why! Lol.

Any suggestions?
