Hi Norm, I can only suggest using the decompressor [if it has one], or going full retard. Failing that, just stall it in gear, or put your hand over the intake. Most of these type of engines will stop if you suddenly open the throttle wide from idling. Cheers, Paul.

Thanks Paul, no decomp, still idles at full retard and it doesn't stop with opening the throttle quickly so it is back to pulling the plug wire or stalling it in gear

Norm, is that a magdyno on this model? Is there some way you can improvise an earth strap from the HT cable or plug terminal/cap? Or ould you split the HT cable to take a branch up to the handlebars and some sort of kill switch? A.

Hi Adrian, yes it is a mag/dyno, I'm not sure what sort of switch I could use to break a HT lead, spark may be able to jump across it. It seems to be stopping ok now with Pauls idea,fully retard, then quickly open the throttle, that will do for now, Thanks again

Hi Adrian,
It is for the K2F that has a handlebar kill button, the Magdyno doesn't have one. The best should be to reinstall the valve lifter, they are now avaliable on this site.
