I know that of course papa, but a body like the IAM is more likely to have it's facts right than a bunch of forums.
Anyway, I only said it was interesting.
Bosch UK seem to think it's happening as well but as they make ABS systems they would be laughing all the way to the bank if this does happen.
Bennetts think it's happening too.
As do MAG.

PeteF I am a MAG member, I have seen no mention of it being law in January 16.
I seriously do not care who states it is happening, until I see the notice to dealers from government on the government website as far as I am concerned it is not happening.

Seems conclusive to me - can't see Bennetts et al all being taken in by a scam. But time will tell.

I've never had a 750 Kawasaki H2. Or had a Fastback Commando. Never had a decent Goldie. Or an A10 and double adult. Or an Ariel Arrow. Never had a Laverda Jota. Sooooo many bikes and so little time. And you guys are bickering about new, strangled, emasculated, gutless, built by robot-driven by robot, same looking...words fail me. You guys profess to love your RE's, there's plenty out there needing a home. You ain't gotta buy new. If you're going to throw money at a new bike then even more money changing it as much as you can to make it go and personalise it, why bother? Never had a Honda 50 cub either now I come to think of it.

I am with papasmurf, nothing to be found other than scuttlebutt on forums including IAM

As for an earlier posts quoting braking figures that seem to scare the bejesus out of them, comparing the braking capability of a relative lightweight with that of a super heavy weight is total bollocks. We have already had jefrs on the same false comparison. By your reckoning if you expect 44 tonnes of artic to come to a halt in the same distance as a motorcycle or a car do you expect a 200 tonne railway passenger train to do the same?
Like papasmurf the will to live is in decline

Scalyback Subject: 2016 bikes.
"Deux chevaux Andy, I also live in France and would vote out!. Their nuts don't fit my bikes!" - Well I hope the French agree to let you stay, and to enjoy the benefits of their health care system,,,,,,,,, just in case you need any help with your nuts of course!

Luckily, I get on well with the locals and the marie, since I found their roman road for them!

Now they are chuffed. It's not only the city of Besancon that has a roman road, our local village has one too!
