Gordon May set off for Vietnam from England on his World War 2 1941 Matchless G3L on 12th September. He has a Blogsite at http://overlandtovietnamblog.com/ but there doesn't seem to be any posts. Does anyone know how he is? When I spoke to him at the REOC International Rally I got the impression he might have arrived by now. None of the visitors to the Blog have direct news except one vague comment and not much detail either! Hope he is ok.

Hi Andy and Mark,
I am Puzzled as to why such a confirmed Bulleteer is on a Matchless!
Please keep us posted on here Andy.
I am in the middle of reading his "Overland to India" I expect one to Vietnam will follow soon.

Hi there, Gordon was supposed to be doing north cape to cape town on the bullet we had the bullet all set up and prepared ready to go then with the ebola thing in Africa he was unable to do that journey. A rethink was needed, ans he was offered a 1941 wd Matchless, this bike had stationed in Burma during the war, so his idea for another book was born, to ride the bike back to Burma
and then onto on vietnam.

Just saw Gordon May yesterday, Dec 8th, in Saigon, Vietnam. He was checking into hotel. Both he and bike seemed in good order. Will look forward to his book, must have been a heck of a journey

I bet he has a story to tell, the trip seems to have taken longer than anticipated! At least it all seems to have worked out well. And back in time for Christmas!
