Some time ago, we thought: What would happen if we had a bad (kickstart) leg? So a few of us experimented with standing the other way round and using the other leg. It looked a bit odd but who cares; it worked. Good luck Chris.
PS The day after I was messing around at home and nearly fell down stairs and twisted that knee. Panic... but it got better; phew.
I have no probs kickstarting my Triumph at all. My only issue with the new knee is the fact that it is loose in the shinbone and gives some serious aches and pains. But as it works ok and is held together tightly enough by the muscles and ligaments etc I'm loathe to have the thing removed and re-cemented. I convinced I got a secondhand one recycled from the crematorium. These joints are designed to be used, Jenks so use or you'll soon find you can't use it.
