Hello
I'm at the body filling/painting part of the '55 bullet, finaly! I had a question; I have a rear fender thats rusted trough on the right hand side and the original rear shocks. Now it's my understanding these original shocks canot be rebuilt apart from the springs. Are these parts to be binned, or kept since they are original parts?

Our Hosts sell replacements so is it worth the bother?

Personally I would always try to restore and use original parts, but if they are too far gone I would still keep them as part of the bikes history
