I have our hosts filter fitted. It says it is washable. Can someone advise me on the most effective way to wash the filter. Many thanks.

Don't know if I did right but used some white spirit then let it dry

From memory, they used to suggest washing it in petrol and then letting it air dry, or was that for the foam ones that you oiled?

It looks the same as a Harley one, in which case you just wash it in washing up liquid and blow dry it, no oil required.
A word of caution though, "apparently" it's not ok to stick it in with the pots and then use the wife's hair dryer!
