I am only wiring for a headlight , ameter , horn, breaklight , so i was thinking of using 10 gauge , that should be more than enough to carry the curant , as i said i am also fitting a solid state regulator , are there any tips or tricks that you guys might know of that might help with the installation ? Some have also said i should wire in a aux circuit for a gps and such , any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi SAboy, I just did a google search for Electroless Nickel in the US and there are many suppliers listed. I did note that the process is commonly used by gunsmiths in restoration and appears readily available. Here is one.
Brownells Inc.
Hours:
Orderline: Open 7:30 am to 5 pm (U.S. CST) Monday - Friday
Tech Phones: Open 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (U.S. CST) Monday & Wednesday - Friday
9:00 am to 4:30 pm (U.S. CST) Tuesday

Although these suppliers will not ship by air freight they will generally all ship by road as the chemicals are not flammable.

One US supplier that I have used is Caswell, but the process is very technical and long winded so avoid that one. If you drop me an email address to [email protected] I will scan and copy you on the process that I use from Janes.
Cheers, Brian
