Good evening one and all, does anyone know how to upload photos from an android tablet (hudl) to this forum? I managed to do it once via photobucket, but since this updated itself I have no idea how to do it again. According to Tesco techy chaps it isn't possible to simply copy a photo to clipboard and paste it on the forum. There needs to be some sort of direct link on/to the forum apparently. I would really like to be able to do this as I want to share photos from next weekends Beamish Run with you all. If anyone has a way to do this PLEASE try to use laymans terms as much as possible. (I'm totally lost with computerspeak).

resize your photo to 640 width,



load it up to a photo service, I recommend tiny pic.



copy the 'HTML for Websites' data and post into your forum post

As far as I am aware you can not upload anything into this forum from any type of device you can only insert an HTML link from something such as photobucket so pictures will need to be uploaded to a photo hosting site

Thanks Simon and Les, Unfortunately I can't find Tiny pics in apps store and photobucket is a complete conundrum to me. Would either of you be able to recommend any other app. (As neanderthally basic as possible) Good greif, but i struggle with these things! Might have to go for a spin on the Bullet just to get back to reality!!!

Tinypics is a website not an app. I assume your tablet has a web browser, but am not sure if tinypic works with android stuff, but...



Go to http://tinypic.com/



You don't have to open an account, load the photo up, and then copy the HTML website code. Paste that into your post to the forum.

It's complicated, this computing business. I got as far as tinypic, but it was in Dutch! Couldn't get it to speak to me in English, despite raising my voice quite considerably. No doubt due to fatigue. Will try again tomorrow. thanks for all your help.

Be careful, as some photo hosting web sites will let people clicking on your posted photo view an entire album of your stuff. All well and good if it's what you want people to see...



If you don't get on with Tinypic (horrible intrusive advertising, for a start), look for others. I seem to manage OK with the French site Imagesia, which has instructions/buttons in English as well as French.



If you're insering pictures in the text it works better with the paragraph spacing. Just type this when you want to leave a line:
