I see Aldi are advertising an action video camera and various camera bags. The camera, of the usual waterproof type, is only £29.99.

both me and my boss bought one.. good image quality, BUT as soon as you put them onto vehicle mode, where it loop records, it refuses to be used if its plugged in at the same time and batteyr life is about 15 minutes. I contacted the manufacturers and they could not explain it. we both took them back.

Bummer, as they say! Nice to get feedback though. I bought one of the cheaper replicas of the top of the line ones. (Forget the names). Haven't used it yet though!

The main problem with cheap cameras is they have a plastic lens, easily scratched and not very high definition. Always ask if it has a glass lens.

As with all things, you get what you pay for. £30.oo for a video camera is cheap. Not surprising then, if it is also nasty.

Which is why a Go-pro costs about ten times as much....
