Hi Simon,
Seems unlikely to be anything to do with the drive chain. Take off the primary drive cover & check the security of alternator rotor & look for in/out play. Check clutch similarly. Or come along to tomorrow nights meeting (Kent REOC) for twenty different opinions! REgards Mick

I personally would be looking more to a chain or sprocket problem, it may go away when you pull the clutch because there will be much less tension on the chain when free wheeling

Yes, but I don't think it is fuel.

the vibrations happen in Neutral, on or off the centre stand, especially at certain engine revs.

checked inside the primary cover, all generator bolts and clutch were tight, nothing amiss there...

I'm stuffed as Chris is busy with bullets for a few days, so I hope to uncover fault myself, but no luck yet.

Will try to get a video with sound tomorrow. My poor bullet!

Plus, they are so bad at certain revs while riding, that it makes my left foot go numb in seconds.

happens more with no load on engine, but also feels a bit chunky accelerating especially at lower revs (More than usual)

plus... the primary chain was always less slack in one position, forgot to check if it has changed.

could the clutch have been knocked off centre enough to vibrate like that? It looked ok...

My AVL hybrid was plagued with worsening'orrible graunchy vibrations, when Bullet Whisperer investigated, it turned out to be a jamming kickstart pawl. How bizarre. A.
